A year after its unexpected postponement, one of the most anticipated concerts in the festival’s history finally takes centre stage. Uniting Nations: One World returns to Llangollen in 2026 – a powerful celebration of peace, hope and global unity.
The evening features a full performance of Sir Karl Jenkins’s One World, conducted by the composer and performed by a remarkable international massed chorus drawn from WorldChoir, NEW Sinfonia, and the Covent Garden Chorus, alongside the Llangollen International Orchestra. Majestic, uplifting and deeply moving, One World blends Jenkins’s unmistakable musical language with themes of humanity, compassion and environmental stewardship – a message that resonates now more than ever.

I Haven't Sung 'One World' Before - Can I Apply?
Yes! Anyone who is comfortable learning the music independently ahead of our 6th July tutti rehearsal is welcome to join this event, but please note that there will be no online rehearsals. -
Accommodation:
Singers will be responsible for organising their own travel and two nights of accommodation in Llangollen or the nearby towns of Chester or Wrexham.
A group will be made to allow singers to interact and coordinate logistics. -
Travel:
By train: Approx. £70 return from London Euston to Chester.
Some car-sharing between singers might be possible in due course. -
Registration Fee:
£50 per person, payable through the WorldChoir website.
