January Track: Starting the year with Os Justi

1st January - 22nd February 2026

A sacred motet taken from Psalm 37 filled with illuminating grandeur.

Our 2026 season is finally here! Keep reading to join, discover our schedule, read more about WorldChoir Membership and SingPlus and choose the option that suits you best.

Anton Bruckner’s Os Justi is a sacred motet that wonderfully presents the composer’s deep connection to church music and mastery of choral writing. Composed in 1879 for four-part choir, the work was first performed in August of the same year. Bruckner played the organ at the premiere of his piece.

‘The mouth of the righteous shall meditate wisdom, and his tongue shall speak justice.’ reminds us of divine law, just speech and the power of righteousness.
